An Evening of Gospel Music featuring Jessica “Powerhouse” Jackson

Hartsville, SC – Enjoy the soulful sounds of some of the Palmetto State’s most talented gospel singers during a live performance at Hartsville’s re-emerging Center Theater.
 
Event headliner Jessica “Powerhouse” Jackson, from Columbia, will perform her multi-nominated hit single, “Jesus the Rock.” Popular gospel group Seasoned Music Ministry, also from Columbia, will showcase original music from their newly released CD. A trio of local talent, comprising The Sonoco Men’s Club, the Jerusalem Baptist Church Men’s Ensemble, and Tyrone Phillips, will also take the stage to present a range of contemporary and traditional gospel music and styles.
 
“We want everyone to come out to support the rebirth of The Center Theater and spend an inspirational evening relaxing to the magical sounds of soul music,” says Barbara Carraway, Center Theater Committee member. “The theater is scheduled to re-open in 2026; this event is another step in the journey that will get us there.”
 
In the words of Jessica “Powerhouse” Jackson, “gospel music makes the world go ‘round.”
 
Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. They can be purchased online at www.thecentertheater.com or local establishments in Hartsville.
 
Jamie Beasley of Beasley’s Barbeque will provide food and beverages.
