    A segmented bowl is a bowl made by gluing together individual pieces of wood to form rings, which are then stacked to create the bowl. The rings can vary in diameter and segment width to create the bowl's proportions.

    Learn the basics of how to design a segmented bowl on paper using only simple math (multiplication and division). Learn how to make a segmented bowl through presentation, videos, examples, and discussion.

    ABOUT THE TEACHER:

    Jack Dague has been a woodworker for the past 30+ years as a hobby who has specialized in making segmented bowls for the past several years. He has a Youtube channel under Wooden Traveler containing numerous videos teaching how to perform various techniques of segmenting. Jack is a former manager for Sonoco before retiring.
