Wares can be constructed by hand from coils of clay, combining flat slabs of clay, or pinching solid balls of clay. This 4-week series is designed for adults that have no prior experience. Students will learn basic handbuilding techniques and surface treatments to work created. Dates & Times: Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00pm -

Mixon is an SC Arts Commission visual arts fellow; Artist (specializing in pottery, clay sculptures, and mixed media); Classroom art teacher with a BA in art, two MA degrees in Elementary Education, and Reading with an emphasis in Elementary Education.
