Hartsville Chamber hosts inaugural event with leaders in education
Hartsville, SC – On March 24, 2017 at 8:00 a.m., the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural State of Education Breakfast at the Hartsville Country Club. The area’s top educational leaders will be speaking on the state of their institution. Included on the panel are Dr. Eddie Ingram, Darlington County School District; Dr. Robert Wyatt, Coker College; Dr. Ben Dillard, Florence-Darlington Technical College; and Dr. Hector Flores, SC Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics; and Dr. Robert Wyatt, Coker College.
This event offers a unique and rare opportunity to gain information from our area’s education leaders by bringing them together on one panel. “Education is the key to having a skilled workforce and expanding our economic impact to the greater Hartsville area, which is why we decided to host the Sate of Education Breakfast. I am very excited to hear what these leaders in education are doing in our community,” said chamber president Quinetta Buterbaugh.
The community is encouraged to attend. A delicious breakfast buffet prepared by the Hartsville Country Club will begin being served at 7:30 a.m. with the program beginning promptly at 8 a.m. Tickets are available by calling the Hartsville Chamber at (843) 332-6401 or by visiting www.hartsvillechamber.org. In addition to tickets, sponsorships are available, which include four tickets, the company’s name on promotional materials, and the company’s name listed in the event program.
The State of Education Breakfast is sponsored by Byerly Foundation, Coker College, Florence-Darlington Technical College, McGee Financial Group, North Industrial Machine, Raceway Ford Chevrolet, Sonoco, and Sweeny, Wingate & Barrow.
The Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based business advocacy organization founded in 1910.
